Today I almost cried about cookies.

If you know me well, you probably know that I am crazy about Delta Cookies. Those in-flight cookies are so delicious I literally think about them for months after a flight. You best believe I ask the stewardess for 3 packages. I literally asked an Elder to send me some Delta cookies when I found out he had a parent who worked for Delta.Well today while perusing around Walmart looking for camp snacks I found these cookies. I remembered the packages said Biscoff and I had looked at the website before but they only sell in bulk (link). Anyways, when I realized the sole lonely package of 16 cookies was the one I may have gotten so happy that my eyes watered. I tried them tonight and they are so so delicious but somehow not the same on the ground.

And that is my life. I sometimes get emotional about cookies. DEAL with it.

What men think about bikinis.

As a ladder day saint, i'm encouraged to dress modestly. I sometimes find myself wishing I "could" wear those short shorts or that tank top, but my feeling of limitation lies within my own thoughts, morals, and faith and not my need to conform and follow church guidelines to please others (like parents, friends, etc.). I really do like dressing modestly, although I don't claim to be perfect. I stumbled across this wonderful video today and I knew I needed to share it. Science don't lie, ladies.

Kinda gives a new meaning to the term "tool", huh?

when i write a talk...

sometimes i am asked to give a talk at church. these are my main goals:

not come off as sacreligious.
not speak blasphemy because of my lack of knowledge.
and avoid mentioning jon foreman.
(because truly, i could talk about jon's songs all day long.)
(oh. and i've already used one of his huffington post articles in a talk before.)

This is how you make a s'more.

step one: get out some foil and break a graham cracker in two.
step two: (optional) spread on creamy peanut butter.
step three: add some Hersheys.
step four: add a marshmallow.
step five: put it all together and smush it down a bit.
step six: wrap it up like these two. only one layer of foil is necessary. make sure you wrap tightly.
step seven: place them over a fire for 5 minutes, flip, and then cook for another 5 minutes. our campsite had a metal grill thing over the fire pit you could cook on, if you don't have one then use a bunch of foil layers to seal tightly and lay the s'more in the coals.
step eight: enjoy the deliciousness that is a foil s'more.use a spoon to scrape up all the melted marshmallow/peanut butter/chocolate goodness.
